Cultural Conversations: Basic Needs Part 1 - An Inequitable Virus

  • Leadership Washington County 11 Public Square, Suite 400B Hagerstown United States (map)

We will host three separate lunchtime (12-1pm) conversations during the month of December open and FREE to members of LWC, the Chamber and GHC. We look forward to welcoming community experts to discuss the following topics:

11/30: An Inequitable Virus: How Covid-19 is disproportionately impacting minorities.

Community Guests:

  • Dr. Maulik Joshi: President & CEO, Meritus Health

  • Earl Stoner: Health Officer, Washington County Health Department

Each of these conversations will shine a light on cultural inequities that exist in our community and how our three organizations’ members can make an impact by first understanding the issues and then answering our call to action.

This continues to be a collaboration between The Greater Hagerstown Committee, Leadership Washington County, and the Washington County Chamber of Commerce.  Each organization will send communication to their active members with information on how to join the Zoom conversation for each week’s topic.
