What Graduate Members Are Saying

“Being a Graduate Member affords the opportunity to continue learning and keeping up to date on what is happening in Washington County with each of the events that are scheduled. The graduate member events also allow me to connect with LWC graduates outside of my class which also increases my network and opportunities to learn from others. Having the ability to reach out to a network of professionals in Washington County when you have a need is a wonderful asset. If there is not a graduate member who can assist you, they inevitably know someone who can..”

— Carrie Tressler, Class #36, Executive Director, Washington County Mental Health Authority

“The purpose of Leadership Washington County is to educate up-and-coming leaders to the inner workings of our community – to make them familiar with the businesses and non-profits, and help them understand the State, County, and local governments. The goal is to provide participants with the knowledge they need to make the community a better place to live, work, and play. This program is not intended to be just a one-year commitment, but rather it is meant to be the beginning of a life-long pledge by each member to serve Washington County – and to serve and add value, we must continually increase our knowledge. In the social media world we live in, there is a lot of misinformation published and it is hard to know what is accurate. But LWC brings experts to meet with the graduates and these professionals provide valuable knowledge to counter misinformation and be a strong proponent for an initiative that will greatly benefit all of Washington County.

I encourage all graduates to become an LWC Graduate Member – it is an opportunity for all of us to bring continual improvement to our community.”

— Linda Ebersole, Class #24, Manager, Jone L. Bowman Family Foundation

“As a Graduate Member, I've found access to a fraternity of servant leaders who offer friendship and invest in my personal and professional development. These relationships are not just about networking; they're about building a stronger community in Washington County. Through LWC, I've gained a deeper set of tools and connections to make a tangible difference in our corner of the world. As someone who believes deeply in the power of relationships, I can attest that LWC provides access to some of the most valuable personal and professional connections. My journey with LWC has enriched my life and empowered me to contribute meaningfully to our community.”
