We will be hosting another Cultural Conversation that is FREE for members of LWC, the Chamber and GHC. This conversation will be centered around the Meritus Go for Bold initiative and how the initiative addresses both physical and mental health and how it addresses equity as part of the initiative.
Community Guests:
Dr. Mitesh Kothari (LH Class 16, 2003) - Physician at Capital Women's Care
Maria Rubeling (LWC Class 29, 2016) - Executive Director at YMCA of Hagerstown
Dr. Douglas Spotts - Vice President and Chief Health Officer at Meritus Health
Allen Twigg (LWC Class 21, 2008) - Executive Director, Behavioral and Community Health at Meritus Health
Each of these conversations will shine a light on cultural inequities that exist in our community and how our three organizations’ members can make an impact by first understanding the issues and then answering our call to action.
This continues to be a collaboration between The Greater Hagerstown Committee, Leadership Washington County, and the Washington County Chamber of Commerce. Each organization will send communication to their active members with information on how to join the Zoom conversation for each week’s topic.
