Class of 2016 Begins Leadership Journey
The 29th leadership class began it's experience this weekend with an Opening Retreat at Wisp Resort. Thirty class members from a wide variety of organizations across Washington County came together to learn about each other, their passions, and what concerns and energizes them about the community. At the conclusion of the retreat, the class will gather once per month from October to June to explore the following topics within Washington County: Human Services, Education, Health, Local Government, State Government, Business & Economic Development, Quality of Life, Cultural Heritage, and Governance. The program culminates with a graduation ceremony and dinner, which is scheduled for June 10, 2016. Check out the list of LWC Class of 2016 members.
